. Red Rump parakeets are ideal birds for beginners to aviculture. They may be used as foster parents, sometimes even for non-Australian parakeets!  First bred in captivity in 1857 in London. Matching of pairs virtually always successful.  They have a pleasant three noted whistle and beautiful to look at.  I usually only have pairs available in the spring.  Hand fed only on pre booking.
